Hailing from Southern California, Michael is passionate about guiding people in discovering their own unique voices: regardless of age, race, gender, socio-economic status or religious belief. Michael fully embraces his purpose in his work as a poet, impact speaker, and communications coach, believing in the life-changing power of people's stories.

Through the years, Michael has been invited to speak, perform, and teach at universities, conferences, businesses, churches, rallies, fundraisers, and prisons. Most notably, he was invited to speak at Oaks Christian School's TEDx Conference on how poetry can lead us back to our most authentic selves.

Until recently, Michael served at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles  as an Impact Speaker, where he used the power of storytelling to bring awareness, inspire action, and raise capital to combat issues surrounding poverty in Los Angeles County. He now serves as President of Creative Development/CoFounder of a storytelling company - The Auditory Museum LLC,
